Born in Scotland a good few years ago now, I have, apart from a brief spell as a boy lived here all my life. It's culture, its natural beauty and its people are simply great to be around. I have also had the fortunate pleasure of travelling a lot and have visited many wonderful places such as Brazil, the far east, India, most of Europe and all over the UK. But its my love of Scotland that inspires my photography the most.
I remember getting my first SLR camera (An olympus in the mid 80's. It was the beginning. I have been interested in art, architecture and photography since my teens but its only been in the last few years that my photography has become a passion.
I was born in Elderlsie, Renfrewshire, grew up in Ayrshire and now live in Edinburgh. I've lived in Aberdeen and Glasgow so have seen my fair share of Scotland. I love the many opportunities that Edinburgh has for photography. In fact, I am hoping to get a lot more urban/city shots added to my portfolio in the future and what better place than Scotlands capital to concentrate.
